Andrew Squire started life training to be an architect, and then practicing in Scotland for a few years before becoming an artist in his thirties. He has taken up Artist’s residencies all over the world, but for long spells in Iceland, Newfoundland and more recently in Kathmandu. The time spent abroad, often in near isolation, has given his work a totally different perspective.
Already well established, Andrew Squire is represented by Stafford Gallery and Thompson’s Gallery in London. He now works from his studio, based at home in the Highlands.
