Peter trained at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford University and then took a Post Graduate Degree at The Royal Academy of Arts. He has won several art prizes, including The David Murray Award for Landscape Painting, and The Windsor and Newton Award for Oil Painting amongst others. Peter has twice been the artist in residence at Garsington Opera, and has for several summers won a fellowship to the Heliker LaHotan Foundation in Maine, USA.

Peter’s work is in many collections including those of The National Trust, Oriel and St Edward’s Colleges, Oxford University, and Hambros Bank. His work has been reviewed in articles in The Arts Review, Country Life, and The Spectator. He is now represented by John Martin in London.
Over the years Peter has had solo shows at both Cadogan Contemporary and John Martin Galleries in London, and with the Heliker LaHotan Foundation in the USA. His work has been selected for The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition
