Kate is a potter, Artist and Illustrator who works from her home studio in York.
Kate's primary medium is clay. Her main subject is the humble receptacle which she explores by creating hand built sculptural interpretations of these everyday shapes found within our homes.
“As a visual Artist my different areas of working all respond to each other, often one informs the other whether I'm creating collages or hand building vessels. Ceramics have always been a large part of my life but has become an increasing necessity to my creative process. I also like to sculpt with paper."
